A city that meets from April to October
Chicago’s cars and coffee is seasonal, and the organizers say so. Fuelfed, the club that started the Sunday-morning format in Winnetka in September 2010, runs Coffee and Classics from late April to late October in Winnetka, three Sundays a summer in Hinsdale and Barrington, and an all-marque Open in Lake Forest with a 1 November date. Evanston’s downtown association closes Sherman Avenue for three Sundays from July to September. Gateway Classic Cars’ showroom in Crete is the exception: the last Saturday of every month, all year.
Members’ cars, public mornings
Every Fuelfed morning is a members’ meeting with free spectating; a non-member may park a classic European car inside for a $20 donation. Evanston takes pre-2000 cars by registration. Crete takes anything that drives in. Read the page before loading the car.
What is not here
Supercar Saturdays, the first-Saturday meet that ran ten seasons in Bolingbrook and South Barrington, last posted in May 2020. Chrome and Coffee at Iron Gate Motor Condos in Naperville ran a 2026 season, but its dates live on a site that renders only in a browser; it joins when they can be read. The Gold Eagle meet on South Kildare, the Homewood and Vernon Hills listings and the Oak Brook rumors could not be read on an organizer’s page.
Which Chicago cars and coffee runs in winter?
Caffeine and Chrome at Gateway Classic Cars in Crete, the last Saturday of the month, 9am to noon, year-round per the organizer.
When does Fuelfed start in 2027?
The organizer publishes its calendar over the winter. The 2026 Winnetka season ran 26 April to 25 October.
