Getting in

“Drivers: Enter parking heading SOUTHBOUND ON GARFIELD toward Chicago Ave. There is no left turn on northbound Garfield.” Spectators: “The nearby Metra commuter lot between Washington and Lincoln will be for spectator and general parking.”

Who may park inside

Members, and guests who ask: “Non-members are welcome to park their classic European cars with Fuelfed members for a suggested $20 donation (to be applied to membership if joining within 7 days).” Spectating is free. The organizer’s one Hinsdale-specific rule: “This is a club event, and the public is welcome to spectate. However, soliciting services, products or activities without Fuelfed’s prior consent is strictly prohibited, and those doing so will be escorted out.” The club’s general etiquette, no touching the cars, no hot-rodding, applies.

What it looks like

The Hinsdalean covered it in August 2020: “Fuelfed, a group of classic car enthusiasts, held a recent gathering on Chicago Avenue near Burlington Park. The event, billed as Sunday Morning Coffee & Classics, featured several dozen vintage vehicles parked along Chicago Avenue.” The organizer’s August 2026 post: “The Swedes of all generations came out in force.”
