What we collect
We collect the information you give us directly and information our systems generate as you use the Driven Life website and the Driven Life member application (together, the "service"). Account data is your name, email address, and the credentials you use to sign in. Plan figures are the income, savings, debts, and vehicle details you enter into the planner so it can calculate a plan for you. Check-ins and posts are the milestones, photos, and comments you choose to share with other members through the social layer. Device and usage data is your browser type, device type, IP address, pages viewed, and the actions you take on the site and in the app, collected automatically through server logs and the technologies described in the Cookies and Advertising section below. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide.
How we use it
We use this information to operate and improve the service, calculate and display your plan, run the social layer, send the newsletter and other communications you asked for, secure accounts, respond to support requests, measure how the site is used, and serve and measure advertising.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and serve advertising. Where display advertising is enabled, we work with Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google in Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
When Driven Life serves advertising through Mediavine instead of, or alongside, Google AdSense, Mediavine's own partners page lists every advertising, analytics, and identity company that may set a cookie through that service, and describes each one's purpose.
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent tool presents these choices before any non-essential cookie is set. You can reopen it at any time using the "Privacy choices" control in the site footer.
Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how visitors and members use the service, so we can find and fix problems and improve the product. Analytics data is generally aggregated and is not used to identify you individually outside of the account you are signed into.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share it in a few circumstances: with service providers who process it on our behalf, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and advertising vendors, each limited to using it for the purpose we hire them for; in response to a valid legal request from a court, regulator, or law enforcement body; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Driven Life, our members, or the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case this policy would continue to govern any personal information transferred.
Your rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and the UK GDPR give you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, request its erasure, receive a copy of it in a portable format, object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are located in California or another US state with a comparable law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. You can exercise the opt-out right, including the right to Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, at any time using the "Privacy choices" control in the site footer.

Children
The service is intended for people who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the Privacy email below and we will remove it.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that to meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or make it anonymous.
International transfers
Driven Life is based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards to protect personal information transferred internationally.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical access controls and transport security measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
