Acceptance
By accessing or using the Driven Life website or the Driven Life member application (together, the "service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
The service consists of this public website, which publishes news, events, stories, and articles about vehicle ownership, and the Driven Life member application, which helps members build and track a plan toward a vehicle purchase and share progress with other members.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use the member application. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Member content
Members may post check-ins, photos, comments, and other content through the social layer ("member content"). You keep ownership of the member content you post. By posting it, you grant Driven Life a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it as part of operating the service. You are responsible for the member content you post, and it must comply with our Community Guidelines.
You must not post content that is unlawful, harassing, impersonates another person, or infringes someone else's rights. We may remove member content, and may suspend or restrict an account, that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines, and members can report content or block another member using the tools built into the social layer.
The planner is not advice
The Driven Life planner produces figures based on the information you enter. It is provided for informational and educational purposes only, is not financial, legal, or tax advice, and is not an offer, application, or approval for any loan or other financial product. Consult a qualified professional before making a financial decision.
Sponsored and affiliate content
Some content on the service is sponsored, or contains affiliate links, as described in our Advertising and Sponsored Content Policy. Sponsored content is always labeled as such.
Intellectual property
Driven Life's name, logo, articles, and site design are owned by Revlent LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for member content, you may not copy, modify, or distribute anything from the service without our written permission.
Prohibited uses
You must not use the service to violate any law, to interfere with or disrupt the service or its security, to scrape or harvest data beyond what a normal visit produces, to impersonate any person or entity, or to upload harmful code.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the service, and close your account, at any time.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of every harmful component.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Driven Life and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Driven Life harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by a third party arising from your use of the service, your member content, or your violation of these terms.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles, and any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
