2 November 2026: Fuelfed Coffee and Classics, Barrington
The meet's page said it runs on the third Sunday of every month. Fuelfed has not stated that rule: its calendar listed three Barrington mornings for 2026, Sunday 17 May, Sunday 16 August and Sunday 20 September, and has no 2027 dates yet. The page now gives only those three dates and says the 2027 dates are not posted.
2 November 2026: Paint protection film, ceramic coating and vinyl
The article said that a film or a coating applied over swirl marks locks them in for the life of the product. That holds for a ceramic coating, which XPEL says comes off only by polishing or another abrasive method, but not for film: XPEL says paint protection film can hide or minimize surface scratches that were already there. The article also described a coating as resisting tree sap and as measured in microns, and said a film edge cut short of a panel eventually lifts, without a source for any of it.
The order section now makes the swirl-mark point about coatings only. The unsourced claims are removed, and the article's remaining claims name the maker or body they come from, with its sources listed and dated 2 November 2026.
1 November 2026: Caffeine and Chrome at Gateway Classic Cars, Crete
The meet's page said it repeats on the last Saturday of every month. The organizer had not stated that rule, so the dates it produced were projections. The page now shows only the next date the organizer has posted.
1 November 2026: Cars and Coffee Hanover at Green Top
The meet's page said it runs every other Saturday, a rule the organizer had not stated. The page now gives the organizer's own season, Saturdays from 18 April to 12 December in 2026, and its next posted date.
1 November 2026: Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals 2026, Rosemont
The event page said tickets were sold online only. They are also sold at the gate, and the page now says so: $45 a day online or at the gate, $90 for a weekend pass.
1 November 2026: Fuelfed Coffee and Classics, Barrington
The meet's page said spectators attend free. The organizer publishes no spectator fee either way, and the page now says that instead.
Reporting a mistake
Every in-person meet page has a form for reporting something out of date, and anything else can go to keys@drivenlife.co with a link to the page. An editor checks each report against the organizer's or the source's own page before anything changes, and a fix to a published fact is added here. How facts are checked in the first place is on the Editorial Standards page.
