Westchester Cars and Coffee meets every Sunday from 8am to 10am at 7 John Walsh Boulevard in Peekskill, New York. The organizer’s website and Facebook page both give that day, those hours and that address.
Any car is welcome. The website’s motto is “I’ve never seen a car I didn’t like,” and it invites sports cars, exotics “and everything in between,” along with people who have no car to show. The Peekskill Herald names Basil Kazepis as its founder and director.
When to arrive
The posted hours are 8am to 10am. The organizer’s 31 October post asked people to arrive at 8am “sharp” and joked about not showing up an hour early on the morning the clocks fell back. The organizer publishes no early-arrival pattern beyond that.
Some Sundays run longer. In August 2025 the Peekskill Herald reported a “Super Sunday” edition running from 8am to noon, with music, vendors and demonstrations. Those extended dates are announced individually, so check Facebook for the current year’s.
The season
The organizer says every Sunday and was still posting weekly dates in late October 2026, including a Thanksgiving food drive on 15 November from 8am to 10am. Past seasons have had a spring start: the Peekskill Herald reported that the 2024 season opened on 17 March. The organizer has not published a 2026 closing date. Before a cold or wet Sunday, look for the organizer’s Saturday post on Facebook, which has been saying whether the meet is on.
The lot
The meet uses the lot at 7 John Walsh Boulevard, home of HQ Racing and HQ Auto Vault, in the industrial park along the Hudson. The Peekskill Herald places it across from Charles Point Park and describes HQ Auto Vault as a storage facility for collectible cars. The organizer publishes no parking map, so follow any volunteers on the lot and leave the drive lanes clear.
The website says the meet started in Yorktown in 2012 and moved to Peekskill in March 2020. Older articles mention South Water Street, an earlier Peekskill location, so make sure your map points to John Walsh Boulevard.
The coffee
The organizer points people across the street to Retro Cafe for breakfast and hot coffee. Its posts publish no cafe hours.
Before you go
The organizer publishes three rules: no speeding to and from the event, no aggressive driving into or out of it, and no excessive revving on the lot. The website also asks regulars to explain the rules to newcomers and to tell the organizers if someone is acting up. In 2025 the Peekskill Herald reported that the organizers treat the rules as non-negotiable.
The meet also runs charity drives. In October 2026 it held its first coat drive for the Peekskill Youth Bureau, and its sixth annual food drive is set for 15 November. The organizer asks for nonperishable food, especially Thanksgiving staples.
