The Portland Roadster Show is an indoor hot rod and custom car show held every March at the Portland Expo Center. The organizer’s site lists the 71st edition for Friday 19 to Sunday 21 March 2027, with tickets and entry through Hall E.
It is produced by the Multnomah Hot Rod Council, a nonprofit made up of car clubs from northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. The council calls it the largest all-volunteer indoor car show on the West Coast. The 2027 edition is the O’Reilly Portland Roadster Show, and it is a stop on the ARP West Coast Challenge.

- Saturday 20 March: 10am to 8pm
- Sunday 21 March: 10am to 5pm
Tickets and getting there
The organizer has not yet confirmed 2027 ticket prices. Its show and ticket information page is where they will appear. Tickets are sold at the event in Hall E.
The Expo Center has its own parking, and the organizer has not confirmed a 2027 parking charge. The organizer points to the MAX Yellow Line, which serves the Expo Center, and lists C-TRAN for riders from Vancouver. Mobility scooters are rented first come, first served, with a four-hour minimum.
On the floor
The organizer describes hundreds of cars, trucks and motorcycles chosen from applications across the Pacific Northwest. Its special events page lists John D’Agostino’s Kavalcade of Kustoms, the Toy Box Off Road exhibit, a High School Challenge for student builders from Portland and Vancouver schools, and the Rose City Brush Bash, where pinstripers compete live. It also lists the Wagon Angels project, in which shops and school programs customize pull wagons for children connected with JoyRx and the Chelsea Hicks Foundation. The organizer notes that scheduled events and appearances can change.
How it started
The Multnomah Hot Rod Council was founded in 1954 by Dee Wescott, community members and elected officials, according to its about page. It has owned and produced the Roadster Show since 1956. Money from the show goes to automotive scholarships, high school vocational programs and children’s charities.
Showing a car
Show cars are selected from applications. The organizer gives the 2027 registration window for vendors, exhibitors and advertisers as 1 September to 1 March, through the registration page on its site.
