Coffee and Chrome is a city-run car show, which is why its details are unusually clear. The City of Hapeville’s own page: “When: 2nd Saturday of each month of April through September,” “Time: 8:30 a.m. to noon,” at “Jess Lucas Park, 680 S Central Ave, Hapeville.” The 2026 dates ran from 11 April to 12 September. The next season starts on the second Saturday of April 2027, which is 10 April.

What it costs

Nothing. The city’s page: “this event is completely FREE and open to everyone.” Cars are registered rather than charged: “Please register your vehicle at: http://www.coffeeandchrome.com/register.html,” and the raffle the city runs is for entrants only, “(must enter a vehicle to participate).”

Weather

The city says it plainly: “Events may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Please continue to check the website or social media for updates before attending the event.” The organizer is the city’s Recreation department, Special Events, reachable through the city’s site.

Where to park

Jess Lucas Park is on South Central Avenue in the middle of Hapeville, a few minutes from the airport. Show cars go into the park; spectators park on the surrounding streets. One listing gives a different address for the show, 3585 Atlanta Avenue; the city’s page says the park, and the city runs it.

Which cars

The city promises “some of the rarest classic cars and bikes around Atlanta.” The Fulton Neighbor, covering the 2026 season’s return in May, quoted organizers describing a show “designed to bring together car enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.” No house rules are posted.

Before you go

Nothing runs until April 2027. When it does, register the car on the Coffee and Chrome site, check the city’s page on the Friday for a weather call, and arrive by 8:30am.
