Gravity Rally

Gravity Rally runs multi-day charity road rallies for exotic, luxury and enthusiast cars in support of cancer research. Its next dated edition is Gravity Rally West, Denver to Las Vegas, 7 to 11 June 2027. Cost, entry and rules.

Gravity Rally is a road rally organization that runs multi-day driving tours for sports, exotic and luxury cars and raises money for charity, chiefly the fight against cancer. Its about page names Cody and Haleigh Palumbo as the couple behind it, and says the loss of Cody’s mother to cancer made giving back a driving force of the organization. Its motto is one family, one mission, one life.

The cause

The FAQ says the Cancer Awareness Rally supports the American Cancer Society. The charity page says the Gravity Rally community has raised more than $100,000 across its events for causes including the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project and Toys for Tots. The organizer does not break that total down by year or by event. Each 2027 West entry includes a donation to cancer research, per the event page.

History and editions

The home page cites more than six years of rally experience, and the 2027 event page calls 2027 the organization’s seventh year rallying in support of cancer research. The organizer says its rallies have so far run on the East Coast. It does not publish a list of past routes or dates on its site.

The next dated edition is Gravity Rally West 2027, the first western rally, from Monday 7 June to Friday 11 June 2027. Gravity Rally East 2027 is listed with details still to come.

What a rally week is like

The published 2027 West itinerary starts with registration and a kickoff party at the Thompson Hotel in Denver’s LoDo district on 7 June. Day 1 drives from Denver to the Westin Vail. Day 2 runs from Vail west toward Moab, Utah, then back into Colorado over mountain passes to Telluride. Day 3 heads to Scottsdale or Sedona, Arizona, and Day 4 finishes in Las Vegas. Hotels for the last three nights are still to be announced.

The organizer gives the route as about 1,400 miles over five days and five nights. Entry includes four and five star hotels, grab-and-go breakfasts, catered group lunches, open bar and private group dinners, livery decals and installation, secured parking each night, photography and video, apparel and a concierge. Some events add closed-course or track sessions, per the FAQ, under separate venue rules.

Who it is for

The FAQ says no rally experience is needed and solo entrants are welcome. It names Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Corvette among the cars that take part, and the 2027 event page welcomes luxury cars, SUVs, trucks and exotics. The terms say the rally is open to all makes, models and years, but that unusual cars have a better chance of acceptance. Drivers must be 21 or older.

How entry works and what it costs

Entry starts with an application to drive, after which the team makes contact. Gravity Rally West 2027 is limited to 25 teams. Entry is $6,000 for one person and one car, or $6,500 with a co-pilot, plus $500 for a second car. A $1,500 deposit holds a spot, $2,000 more is due on 30 January 2027, and the balance on 1 May 2027. Payments are non-refundable, but a spot can be sold to someone else.

The rules

The terms are plain: Gravity Rally is not a race. Participants must not compete with each other or place bets, must obey every speed limit and traffic law, and must be completely sober behind the wheel. Every driver needs a valid US license, matching registration and insurance, and every car carries the rally’s logos throughout.
