The Woodlands Cars and Coffee for a Cause is the north Houston meet with a charity box at the gate. Market Street, the venue, lists it for Sunday 1 November 2026, 6am to 10am, with the description: “The Woodlands Car Club & area auto enthusiasts gather at Market Street the 1st Sunday of the month from 6-10 a.m.” The address is 9595 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380.

When to arrive

Early, but not too early. The club’s own guideline sheet, hosted on the venue’s site, says: “Although the official start time of the event is 7 a.m., please DO NOT move the barricades or enter before 6:30 a.m.” And for the eager: “If you would like to arrive before 6:30 a.m. you may park at HEB as a holding/parking area.” The venue’s 2026 listing opens the window at 6am; the sheet’s 6:30am is the earlier organizer statement. Either way, be there before 7am for a space.

Where to enter and park

The sheet is specific: “All ‘display’ vehicles will be asked to enter by the entrance where Starbucks is located.” Then: “Please park in designated event areas and no holding/saving spaces,” and “Vehicles parking on the North Side must be parked in a parallel position.” New participants fill out an information sheet and waiver. Parking is limited and, per a 2020 venue release, “participants will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis.”

The donation

There is no entry fee, but a show car is expected to give. The sheet: “your donation of ANY amount will be collected, and then you will proceed to park.” The venue’s listing calls it Market Street’s “Change for Charities” and says the club collects “coins/change, or ANY monetary amount-cash or credit card.” The running total, per the 2026 listing: “We have collected and donated over $100,000 to over 70 local charities from this event since 2009.”

Which cars, and the one kind it cannot take

The venue says the club “welcomes all types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more.” The exception is on the rule sheet: “The only vehicles we cannot accommodate at THIS event on Market Street property due to safety concerns, are lifted late-model trucks/Jeeps/SUV’s w/oversized tires.”

The rules

From the sheet, verbatim: “No Excessive Revving ~ No Speeding ~ No Burnouts or Squealing Tires.” And: “Absolutely no unapproved solicitation or advertising.”

How it started

Market Street’s page: the meet was “created in 2009 by Dana Pritchard of Woodlands Performance & Suspension,” and the club itself was “founded in March 2001.” Community Impact profiled the club in 2016, when the charity total stood at “more than $10,000.” Pritchard is still the contact on the venue’s listing.

Before you go

Bring cash or a card for the box, come in by Starbucks, park where you are told, and keep it quiet on the way out. December’s date, Sunday 6 December, appears on a community calendar; the venue had not posted it as of late October.
