Supercar Sunday is the San Fernando Valley’s weekly meet, and the organizer runs it like a schedule rather than a rumor. Its location page gives the hours, “7:00 AM – 10:00 AM”, and the place, “Pierce College 6201 Winnetka Ave Woodland Hills, CA 91371”, with the lot: “Main event parking: Lot 7” and, on the fourth Sunday of each month, Lot 8. Its schedule page says the rest: “Join us every Sunday morning unless otherwise noted.”
The Sundays it skips
The organizer posts the exceptions. For 2026 the no-show dates were 5 April (Easter), 5 July and 6 September (Labor Day weekend), and on 26 October 2026 the home page carried a banner: “NO CAR SHOW Sunday, October 25th There will not be a car show this Sunday. See you next weekend!” Check the home page on Saturday night.
The schedule page also lists the themed Sundays. The second Sunday of every month is Porsche Marquee Day. For the rest of 2026: 1 November is a Hot Rods marquee event, 8 November is Porsche day, and 6 December is the Motor4Toys charity event. Themes do not close the gate: “Even when there is no featured marquee or theme, Supercar Sunday is still open to all makes, models, and automotive enthusiasts.”
Which entrance
This is the detail that costs first-timers twenty minutes. The organizer: “Please use the Victory Blvd. and Mason St. entrances. These are the only entrances open for Supercar Sunday.” And: “The physical address may take you to the far side of campus. The event is located in the main lot off Victory Blvd.” Put the address in, then ignore it at the end and come in from Victory.
The rules
The organizer’s rules page is the clearest in the region. The headings, with the organizer’s own reasons where it gives them: “No Car Dealers.” “No Revving / Excessive engine revving creates unnecessary noise and draws negative attention to the event.” “No Peeling Out / Burnouts, hard launches, and aggressive exits are unsafe and put the future of the event at risk. Please enter and leave calmly.” “No Racing.” “No Saving Spots / Parking is first come, first served.” “Do Not Be Uncool.” “Approved Sponsors Only.” “No Unauthorized Promotion.” “Respect Pierce College.” “Use Approved Entrances.” The event is, in the organizer’s words, “a free community event.”
How it started
The organizer’s about page traces it to a coffee shop: “The origins trace back to Village Coffee Roaster, where a handful of enthusiasts met in the early days, before ‘cars and coffee’ was even a recognized term.” The man managing the shop was Dustin Troyan, who still runs the event. Ventura Blvd magazine dates it: “’Supercar Sunday’ was born in 2000 as a free, weekly get-together for about 20 of his friends,” and reports the move after that: “After merchants complained about the crowds, he moved the event to the Promenade in 2009.” The event later moved again, to Pierce College; the organizer does not date that move.
Size, per the same magazine: “Most weeks, 200 to 300 cars are on display.” The Pierce College Roundup covered it in February 2026, with Troyan’s own line on what the morning is for: “The cars are actually the smallest part of it.” The December Motor4Toys drive has collected “over $6 million in toys” over its history, per the Valley News Group in 2024. The presenting sponsor is Porsche Woodland Hills.
Before you go
Read the home page for a no-show banner, arrive from Victory Boulevard, take the first open space, and leave the way you came in, quietly. The organizer says the aggressive exit is what “put[s] the future of the event at risk,” and it has been saying so since the coffee shop.
What time is Supercar Sunday?
