The first Saturday problem
Phoenix stacks its biggest meets on the same morning. On the first Saturday of the month, Highline Autos opens High Street at 7:30am with 400 approved cars and $5 garage parking, Scuderia Southwest gathers its members’ cars at DC Ranch from 7am, Fourtillfour lines Marshall Way in Old Town with Porsches from 7am, and Gilbert fills a restaurant lot from 9am. A driver can do two of them if the first is DC Ranch or Old Town and the second is Gilbert. Peoria’s second Sunday is the only big one on its own weekend.
The season
The Valley’s meets run on a desert calendar. Peoria runs September through May and says why: “we take the summer off for the Arizona heat.” Gilbert runs October through May. Highline Autos and Scuderia Southwest run year-round and start early. Between June and September, check the organizer before driving anywhere.
What closed and what is not here
The Rock and Roll Car Show at The Pavilions at Talking Stick, a Saturday-evening fixture for 30 years, closed permanently in July 2025; directories still list it. The old Scottsdale Cars and Coffee is now the private Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering, where spectators are welcome and display is members only. Downtown Chandler’s new second-Sunday meet launched in August 2026 and joins this page once it has a season behind it. Anthem Cars and Coffee’s own site gives two different days; it joins when the organizer settles on one.
Before you drive
Highline Autos has police at the exit and a zero-tolerance line on revving. Scuderia Southwest’s cars are a private collection on public view. Everywhere, the lot belongs to a shop or a restaurant that opens as the meet ends.
