Coffee and Classics is a registered name of Fuelfed, a classic-motoring club from Winnetka, Illinois, that runs the same morning in several cities. Its Fort Lauderdale page: “8:00am to 10:00am on the last Sunday of the month,” at “710 NW 5th Ave Fort Lauderdale, FL,” in the Thrive District north of downtown. The club’s calendar, updated in August 2026, lists 29 November and 27 December 2026, each with the note “check FB FTL to see if this gets cancelled.”

What it is, in the club’s words

“Coffee & Classics is not a juried car show, but rather a casual Sunday morning gathering to keep the old gears oiled... From Aston to Zagato, or Alfa to VW, it doesn’t matter, just drive it.” The display is members only and European only: “All Fuelfed Coffee & Classics® events are for current Fuelfed members to display their European classics (1995 and older) and are not an open car show, but rather a members’ meeting... All are welcome to park outside of the area and attend as spectators.” Members fill out a windshield card with the car’s vitals.

The rules

“Please do not touch or get into the cars... No soliciting and advertising... no chairs or coolers by the cars... NO hot-rodding or open exhausts.” Parking: “Street parking and parking lot parking. No streets blocked off and NO standing in the street. Please obey the traffic laws.” The club notes “a local coffee shop happy to support your morning drink and eats needs” at the current location.

How it started

Fuelfed’s first Coffee and Classics drew 24 cars in Winnetka in September 2010. The Fort Lauderdale chapter’s page carries comments from November 2014 congratulating the club on expanding, and a 2021 note placing it at Hardy Park Bistro, so the Thrive District is at least its second home. Its size is not published.

Before you go

If the car is European and older than 1995, join the club and bring it. If not, park on the street outside the display and walk the two hours. Check the Fort Lauderdale Facebook page the night before, which is the club’s own instruction.

When is Fuelfed Coffee and Classics in Fort Lauderdale?

The last Sunday of the month, 8am to 10am, per the club. Next: 29 November and 27 December 2026.

Is showing a car open to anyone?

No. Display is for Fuelfed members with European cars from 1995 or earlier. Spectators are welcome to park outside the area and walk around.
