What Fast Lane Drive is
Fast Lane Drive describes itself as “the world’s largest members-only exotic car club.” Its about page dates the club to 2018, when co-founders Clement Connor and Giovanni Letellier gathered a handful of owners for a morning drive through the Rancho Santa Fe hills near San Diego. The home page gives a figure of “2,000+” entrepreneurs and executives.
In the club’s own telling, the cars are the start and the people are the point. “We’re not a rally scene,” the about page puts it. “We’re a leadership community that loves supercars.”
Who it is for
The requirements page sets the criteria: members are 21 or older with a valid driver’s license, and the car is an exotic, luxury performance or significant classic vehicle with current registration and insurance. That page gives a minimum vehicle value of $250,000. The chapter pages give a lower guideline, “a vehicle valued at $200,000 or more,” and rule out most performance sedans and classic or collector cars.
The FAQ requires every member to own at least one modern exotic, so a leased or rented car does not count. Muscle cars are not accepted “at this point,” electric supercars qualify, and classics are case by case. The application lists the eligible brands, among them Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche, and an application for a car not on the list “will not be considered.” The join page also lists member criteria, starting with business owners or executives.
How membership works
Membership is by application. The about page puts it as “by application and invitation only” and gives three steps: apply, interview with the chapter lead, start driving. Applying is free. According to the FAQ, a qualified applicant is invited to a virtual interview with one or more of the club’s owners, and the board of directors reviews the profile before any invitation. The membership page requires that each applicant “must complete a personal interview and receive approval through a vote by a five-person board.” The join page adds that acceptance stays at the board’s discretion even when the criteria are met.
The pages differ on timing. The requirements page says application review takes 3 to 5 business days, and the FAQ says board approval typically takes 1 to 2 days. The requirements page also lists vehicle documentation checks and a background screening.
What it costs
The club publishes two figures. The requirements page lists an annual membership of $5,000 and a one-time initiation of $1,000. The FAQ answers the cost question with “Membership starts at $6,000 annually for 2 people within your family.” Events are paid separately: each carries an all-inclusive fee for the day’s activities and dining, and paying per event instead of joining is not an option.
How the chapters work
Members join a home chapter, and one membership opens events at every chapter, per the requirements page. Each chapter runs a monthly drive, which the home page calls “usually a rally along scenic roads followed by a dinner or night out,” with multi-chapter events through the year. On November 1, 2026 the club’s chapter finder listed 33 chapters with their own pages in the United States, Canada and Europe, plus waitlists for Dubai, Houston, Marbella and Milan.
What members do
The FAQ puts the calendar at more than 250 events a year and most events include a rally of two to three hours or more. The club’s pages list monthly drives and rallies, private dinners, garage socials, track days, charity galas, watch and aviation experiences and multi-chapter trips. The about page names four traditions: Wake Wednesday, sunrise drives, Black Tie & Keys galas and garage socials. The club supports local charities in every chapter each quarter, per the FAQ, and the home page puts the total raised at “$3M+.”
Finding a chapter
The chapter finder at fastlanedrive.com/chapters links each chapter’s page, and the application asks for a chapter choice. A member without a chapter in their city can join a nearby one.
