Pistons on the Square is a monthly gathering of “antique, classic and late model cars and motorcycles” on the historic square in downtown Georgetown. The organizer’s Facebook page gives the schedule as “every 3rd Saturday morning (8am to 10am) each month.” The next third Saturday is 21 November 2026.
The page posted reminders before the May, July, August and September meets in 2026, and photographs from the 19 September meet.
When to arrive
The window is two hours, 8am to 10am. The organizer publishes no early-arrival time. There is no reserved show lot: the meet uses public parking around the square.
Where to park
Parking is the one rule the organizer spells out. A February 2026 post on the page reads: “Pistons on the Square is held in a public space every month. All participants need to park in Legal parking spots. Parking on corner or blocking crosswalks is not legal.” The same post says the Georgetown Police Department had already contacted the organizer about it and “will be enforcing laws.”
That post also points to overflow: “There is additional parking east on 7th and 8th streets as well north on Main st.” The page’s description repeats the warning that police will enforce the parking laws.
How it started
Replying to a longtime attendee in May 2026, the page wrote, “seems like yesterday when we started this in 2015.” It publishes nothing more on the meet’s history.
