Cars and Coffee Utah holds a free car meet on the first Saturday of every month, from 9am to 11am, at The Shops at South Town in Sandy. The organizer’s FAQ gives the day, the hours and the place: the southwest side of the mall, by Texas Roadhouse and HomeGoods, at 10450 S State Street. Its Instagram bio says the same in one line, “1st Saturday of Every Month 9-11 am,” under the name “Utah’s Official Cars & Coffee.”
KSL Cars, which sponsors the meet, described it in February 2026 as a free, monthly show where owners bring “custom, classic and everyday rides” and where “there are typically hundreds of vehicles lined up across the parking lot.” The organizer says it started the meet to give car people a family friendly place to meet and talk.
When to arrive
The posted hours are 9am to 11am. The organizer’s only arrival advice is to show up early, because spots fill quickly. There is no registration and no assigned parking, per the FAQ, so the early cars get the best rows.
The meet runs through the winter. KSL Cars says it happens on the first Saturday of every month, “rain or shine,” and covered a February 2026 edition held from 9am to 11am. The organizer’s own pages publish no weather policy, so on a snowy first Saturday check its Instagram or Facebook before the drive.
Where to park
The meet uses the mall’s parking lot on the southwest side of the building, near Texas Roadhouse and HomeGoods, per the organizer. The Shops at South Town lists its address as 10450 S. State Street, Sandy, UT 84070, with more than 100 shops and restaurants. The organizer gives no entrance instructions beyond the side of the building.
KSL’s February article calls the mall “The Stores at South Town” in one paragraph and “The Shops at South Town” in the next. The mall’s own site and the organizer both use The Shops at South Town.
Where it has been
South Town is not the meet’s first home. A September 2021 post on the organizer’s Facebook page moved it to 3849 W 5400 S in Taylorsville, saying the new address “will allow us to grow and hold more cars than we have in the past.” In December 2024, KSL reported a Cars and Coffee edition at the eBay parking lot in Draper, 9am to 11am, in support of The Road Home. Today the organizer’s site, Instagram and Facebook all point to South Town.
Before you go
The organizer publishes few rules, and they are short. Dogs are welcome, with a line in the FAQ for owners “who know how to pick up after them.” The FAQ also explains the merchandise: the meet is free to attend, but “after permits, insurance, police on site, etc. it is a very expensive event to produce,” and shirt and hoodie sales help cover it.
The lot belongs to a working shopping center. Arrive quietly, park where the meet is, and leave the way you came in, slowly.
