Cars and Coffee Mount Dora, American Legion Post 35

Cars and Coffee Mount Dora is a monthly Saturday meet in Lake County. The organizer’s Facebook page calls itself the “Official page of Cars & Coffee Mt. Dora. Meeting every 2nd Saturday from 8-10am.”

The meet is held at American Legion Post 35, 920 S. Highland Street, Mount Dora. In October 2026 the organizer thanked the post “for allowing Cars And Coffee Mount Dora to have our event there every second Saturday of the month.”

When to arrive

The organizer gives 8am to 10am. Its September and October 2026 events, on 12 September and 10 October, both ran on those hours. The next second Saturday is 14 November. The organizer posted on 1 November that its next event was on the calendar, without the date in the post text.

The coffee

There is no cafe on site. The organizer’s events say to “Get your coffee/breakfast from our coffee truck,” with music from DJ Rockin Rich.

The cause

The meet raises money for local families. In August 2026 the organizer reported $500 toward a new wheelchair and therapy for a boy named Joseph. After the September meet it said it had raised close to $500 for another child’s medical bills. Each autumn it collects candy for two trunk-or-treat events, for the Miracle League of Lake County and UCP West Orange, and gave five raffle tickets for each large bag of non-peanut candy.

Before you go

The organizer says the event is free for all vehicles, cars and trucks, and all attendees, with all makes and models welcome. It publishes no written conduct rules. The lot belongs to the American Legion post, so park where you are directed and leave quietly.
