The second Motivation Rally ran from Atlanta to Miami between Thursday 27 August and Monday 31 August 2026: five days, four overnight stops, and a field that changed size as it went. The route took the group through Tampa and Orlando to Miami Beach, with a day trip south to the Florida Keys before it broke up.
The field
Corvettes were the most common car on the rally, in markedly greater numbers than at the first running a year earlier. Porsches were the other large group.
Atlanta
The group assembled in Atlanta and stayed at the InterContinental Buckhead. The rally opened with dinner and a show at the Atlanta Comedy Theater in Norcross, which put the whole field in one room before any of the driving started.
Members of the Black Porsche Club of Atlanta joined at that stop and drove with the rally.
Atlanta to Tampa
The first driving day ran to Tampa and ended at the Tampa Marriott Water Street. It passed without an accident or a ticket.
Orlando, then Miami
Saturday covered Tampa to Orlando and then the run south to Miami. The Orlando stop included a group photo shoot and a lunch, and drew drivers who had not been on the rally before.
One incident occurred on the leg into Miami. Nobody was injured. The rally's last two nights were at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
The Keys
On the Sunday the group ran a day trip from Miami down to the Florida Keys. The weather held for the first half of the day and turned to heavy rain through the afternoon, clearing again before the return.
Nobody has to drive all five days
The rally does not ask drivers to commit to the whole route. Members joined at stops along the way and left at whichever point suited them, so the pack grew and shrank between cities. It finished larger than it started.
That open format is what lets a five-day rally take drivers who cannot give it five days, and it is the part of the arrangement most worth copying.
The first Motivation Rally ran in 2025.
