Cars and Coffee in Charlotte

The standing morning meets within 40 miles of uptown Charlotte, checked against their hosts: Charlotte Motor Speedway on the third Saturday, Gibson Mill on the second, Porsche at the Lake and Streetside Classics on posted dates, and the meets resting or gone.

Checked 5 meets, details read 1 November 2026

How the month runs

Charlotte’s verified morning meets are monthly, and three of them sit in Concord. The second Saturday belongs to Tom Cotter’s Cars and Coffee at Gibson Mill, 8am to 10am, rain or shine, per AutoBarn Classic Cars. The third Saturday is Cars and Coffee Concord in the Fan Zone at Charlotte Motor Speedway, 8am to 11am, free, per the speedway.

Two dealers post their dates one at a time. Porsche Charlotte Northlake calls Porsche at the Lake its monthly cars and coffee; the next is Saturday 7 November, 8am to 10am. Streetside Classics has Caffeine and Classics at its Concord showroom on the same morning, 9am to noon.

The season

Charlotte Motor Speedway lists a date in every month of 2026, ending on Saturday 19 December, and AutoBarn says Gibson Mill runs rain or shine. Streetside’s 2026 run, per Charlotte on the Cheap, ends on 7 November and restarts in spring.

Several meets are resting. Cars & Cappuccino, the European sports car meet at SouthPark Mall, scheduled its last 2026 SouthPark date for 18 October and lists one more 2026 morning, a Stuttgart Santa Day and toy drive at Hendrick Porsche on Saturday 12 December, 9am to 11am. Lamborghini Charlotte called its 10 October Exotics & Espresso the final one of 2026. The Pit Indoor Kart Racing in Mooresville wrapped its Koffee N Kars season on 3 October. None has published a 2027 date, so none has a page here until it does.

What is not on this list, and why

Cars and Coffee Charlotte, the big first-Saturday meet, still has a Facebook page that says first Saturday, but its Instagram has posted nothing since October 2023, when it lost its lot at the CPCC Levine campus, and its website now redirects to a parked page. LKN Cars and Coffee ended in July 2024 after Merino Mill in Mooresville stopped hosting it, per its own Facebook page. Lake Norman Cars & Coffee in Cornelius has been silent since early 2018. Gateway Classic Cars no longer lists a Charlotte showroom, so its Caffeine and Chrome in Concord is held back.

Hendrick Porsche posted about a September 2026 Stuttgart Saturday but publishes no current schedule or hours. Cars and Coffee Mooresville, at Mooresville Dragway, says only that its next event is in November, date to be announced. Lake Wylie Cars and Coffee, Cars and Coffee Rock Hill, Waxhaw Coffee Cruisers, Sunrise at Sun Valley in Indian Trail, Cars & Coffee in the Park in Gastonia and a York, South Carolina meet at Southern Touch Bakery appear only on calendar sites so far, with no host page to check against. No standing morning meet in Ballantyne, Huntersville or Fort Mill could be checked against a host page for this edition.

Before you drive

Every meet on this list borrows its lot: a speedway, a mill, and two dealerships. Only Gibson Mill publishes a weather rule. The speedway’s lot map marks a single entrance and a single exit, so take both slowly.
