Porsche Club of America, Florida Crown Region

The area Florida Crown covers

The Florida Crown Region’s site describes its area as northeast and north-central Florida, from Fernandina Beach to Gainesville and from Lake City to Palm Coast, with Jacksonville as the main hub of activities. It names 16 counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee and Union. It is one of the regions in PCA’s Zone 12.

The region was chartered on 16 June 1960 as the Central Florida Region and took the Florida Crown name on 25 January 1975. It counts more than 900 active members and supports charities including Wolfson Children’s Hospital and the American Red Cross.

Socials

Dinner socials fall on the second Tuesday night of each month, per the About page, and the region holds both north and south monthly socials at different venues so members across its 16 counties can get to one. Drive and dines head to places within a few hours of the region, often with 20 or 30 Porsches in the line. Board meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month, in person or on Zoom, and all members are invited.

Breakfast is part of the rhythm. Porsches and Pancakes on the first Saturday of the month in the Jacksonville area is on hold until February 2027, per the home page. The Gainesville edition carries on, on the last Saturday from 9am to 11am at First Watch, 3729 SW 40th Boulevard. The calendar also lists Caffeine and Octane at the Avenues Mall, where Porsches gather at a Porsche corner from 8am to 11am, though it is marked as not a PCA-sponsored event.

Concours, autocross and tours

The 2026 galleries show the year’s shape. A spring concours at the Brumos Collection, with concours preparation sessions held there beforehand. A fall Concours and Swap Meet at the Porsche Service Center in St. Augustine, whose 60-car field sold out. Porschetoberfest in September. A January Soul Rally and a Valentine’s Day drive. The About page describes quarterly autocrosses, and the March 2026 round ran at The Firm. Members also take part in driver education and PCA club racing, and the site has its own driver education section.

Overnight tours are a staple. The Putnam Backroads Tour on 14 and 15 November 2026 leaves Green Cove Springs on lightly traveled North Florida back roads, stops for lunch in High Springs and ends at a lodge built in 1927 by the Putnam Lumber Company in Cross City, with an optional evening run to Horseshoe Beach. The year closes with a holiday brunch at the Timuquana Country Club on the St. Johns River, on 13 December in 2026, from 11am to 2pm.

The region publishes a newsletter, Das Florida Krone Zeitschrift, on its site, along with member stories about why owners chose a Porsche.

New members

New members get an exclusive social of their own; the June 2026 one was held at the Timuquana Country Club. The membership page sends owners to the PCA application to join both PCA and Florida Crown, and the PCA club page has the national dues.
