The Old Hickory Chapter is the BMW CCA chapter for Middle and West Tennessee, around Nashville. It meets on second Thursdays, drives on third Saturdays from March to November and holds a yearly luncheon at the Lane Motor Museum.

What the chapter covers

The Old Hickory Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America welcomes visitors to “Middle/West Tennessee BMW CCA.” Its mailing address in the national directory is in Brentwood, just south of Nashville. Per its home page, the chapter began as a small group and has grown to more than 500 members, and most of its events are family friendly.

A calendar built on two dates

The chapter runs on a simple monthly pattern, set out on its home page. Meetings are typically on the second Thursday of each month, except December and January. Touring drives are typically on the third Saturday, except December, January and February, so the driving season runs from March through November.

Meetings are often more than a meeting. The chapter has combined one with dinner and go-karting at Music City Kartplex on Highway 231 North, between Murfreesboro and Shelbyville. Drives start from different points around Middle Tennessee, such as a Circle K at New Highway 96 West and Downs Boulevard in Franklin for a run to Mt. Pleasant, or Twice Daily on Horton Highway in Arrington. Drive listings call for a required drivers’ meeting before departure and ask drivers to arrive a little early.

In late January or early February the chapter holds its yearly meeting and lunch at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. For members, the Annual Member Luncheon includes a complimentary lunch and entry to the museum.

The chapter also lists social gatherings and volunteer opportunities. As of November 1, 2026, its website shows no events after September, and current plans are posted in the chapter’s Facebook group.
